Sonovision strengthens its engineering know-how by taking over Kappa. The Kappa group, founded in 1989 by international experts, specializes in consultancy services for the industrial and tertiary sectors: project management and prime contractorship of key projects. Today the group is based in Europe but is also present in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and in the US, has revenue worth over €20 million and employs a workforce of 180 people plus 50 consultants. Its clients belong to various industrial sectors, although the oil sector is by far the most represented. Kappa will considerably strengthen SONOVISION-ITEP's standing in the engineering field in general, and in project management activities in particular. |

SONOVISION-ITEP has taken over British company DCS (Design and Created Services Limited). DCS (turnover: 2M€ - 25 people - based in Letchworth (in the suburbs of London) and Bristol) specialises in the production of technical documentation, essentially for customers in the armament industry (THALES; ASTRIUM; MBDA; etc). With the acquisition of DCS, the objective of SONOVISION-ITEP is to: - further develop its activities in the UK, - offer its European customers reinforced transnational capabilities. |

SONOVISION-ITEP has just signed a partnership agreement with INMEDIUS, the US company behind the S1000D publishing suite. The main strengths of this publishing suite are: • a highly integrated structure of 8 modules that allow us to tailor solutions precisely to the needs of each client, • the ability to accept all S1000D specifications, as well as other civil and military standards, • reputation and recognition in a market where INMEDIUS first established its presence in 1995, • ISO certification since 2007. SONOVISION-ITEP group and its Division Ligeron® have acquired a new company, CIGMA, on Monday 25 February 2008. CIGMA has a sales volume of 2 million euros and specializes in providing project management support in the field of commercial real estate. In this way, the SONOVISION-ITEP group and its Division Ligeron®, more specialized in risk management, project management support for large industrial projects and compliance studies (tunnel safety, ICPE environmental protection classification, HQE environmental quality standard, etc.), can develop at faster pace. |

After awarding it a 4-year contract for the revision and copying of Airborne Warning And Control System (AWACS) documentation of French Air Force E-3F aircraft, Air France has charged SONOVISION-ITEP with managing the AWACS program documentation until September 2011. |

Since January 2007, EDF's Centre d'Ingénierie Thermique (CIT) at La Défense, in charge of managing the documentary resources for the thermal power stations delivered by EDF in France and abroad, has contracted SONOVISION-ITEP Ingénierie documentaire and Ligeron® to perform various missions: Helping CIT obtain all necessary authorizations for a major EDF GAZ project: construction of a methane terminal at Dunkirk. Making an inventory, preparing and organizing the removal of common archives, ascertaining which archives to destroy, which archives to digitize and enter in the EDM and archives whose storage is to be outsourced without digitizing. Helping CIT engineers to manage their documentary resources, within the framework of a mission with obligation to achieve a result.
