In 1986, SONOVISION-ITEP set up a "Quality Assurance" system to
provide its clients with the best guarantee of satisfactory results.
Each of SONOVISION-ITEP's Technical Centers is gradually undergoing
ISO 9001 v2000 certification auditing.
This process is being implemented by the Quality/Process Engineering
Division, reporting directly to the CEO. The general provisions applied by the
company and applicable to the services it provides, are described in its
Quality Manual. The provisions specific to each Technical Center are written
up in the center's Quality Manual. Special processes may be implemented to
meet the
specific needs of projects:
- Development plans
- Quality plans
- Inspection plans
These plans are primarily designed to meet the requirements expressed by
clients and supervisory authorities. To define and to implement these plans,
SONOVISION-ITEP in particular relies on:
- ISO 9000 v2000 standards
- AFNOR and DGA recommendations
